Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher  has died at the age of 60, four days after suffering a cardiac arrest on a flight while returning home to LA to celebrate the holidays with her family. The star, who shot to fame as Princess Leia in the 1970s (pictured, left and right), received CPR on the flight and was revived. Her mother, famed actress Debbie Reynolds (pictured together, left inset), reported that she was in a stable condition on Sunday. But her family announced her death this morning. Celebrities all over the world rushed to pay tribute today, with her Star Wars co-star Mark Hammill, who played Luke Skywalker, and current actress Anna Kendrick posting touching messages about her. This year, she starred in a revival of the franchise, appearing on the screen as Princess Leia again for the first time in decades (pictured alongside Harrison Ford as Han Solo, right inset). She had recently been in London promoting her new book and was interviewed by Graham Norton on his show (main). Norton wrote on Twitter: 'numb,' adding that it was 'unbelievable that such a bright, funny, loving spark could be extinguished'.
