She is riding a wave of success after delivering back-to-back solid performances in Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. But now, Alia Bhatt is “taking a break”.

Alia Bhatt’s next release will be Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Varun Dhawan. 
“I haven’t signed anything new as of now. I am going to take some time off and chill. I will work on some ideas that are not film related. I have been planning to do that for a while, but haven’t had the time,” she says.
